About SoulTribe

Wrestle. Name. Calling.

We are a Christian movement of people from many churches and denominations. Our weekends are inspired by Genesis 32, where Jacob wrestled with God, received a new name and stepped into his calling.

Chapter 1. Integrity

Wrestle

"So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak." Genesis 32:24

Transformation starts when we stop running and face the truth about ourselves, honestly, in the dark, before God.

Chapter 2. Courage

Name

"Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome." Genesis 32:28

It takes courage to hold on until the blessing comes. On the other side of the struggle is a new name: who God says you are.

Chapter 3. Grace

Calling

"I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared." Genesis 32:30

Jacob walked away with a limp and a calling. Grace does not erase our story. It sends us into the world with it.

Three bars. Three pillars.

Built on
Genesis 32

Jacob wrestled with God through the night, received a new name and stepped into his calling. Every weekend rests on the three bars you see in our name.

Our mission

To create spaces where souls encounter God through radical experiences.

Our vision

An Africa where people connect with God and each other in integrity, truth and grace.

The Crucible Project

Our partnership

In partnership with The Crucible Project

SoulTribe brings The Crucible Project's Christ-centred soul work to Africa. The Crucible Weekend is designed to help you take a hard look at what is and is not working in your life, wrestle with God and embrace your God-given purpose. We encourage every participant to take what they receive and live it out in their local church and community.

Soul Groups

Find your tribe

Transformation does not end after a weekend. SoulTribe Groups give ongoing support and accountability to help you live out what you learned. They help you grow in integrity, courage and authenticity, foster a community of grace, and give you a safe place to process life's challenges.
